Mr. Muhammad Tahir|Founding Partner |Tax & Revenue
Mr. Muhammad Tahir is a highly accomplished former civil servant and tax professional with an extensive career in Customs, Sales Tax, Federal Excise, and Income Tax administrations across major jurisdictions, including Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Multan, and Faisalabad. During his distinguished public service career, he held several senior leadership positions, most notably serving as Collector Appeals, Islamabad, and Director Law & Prosecution, Islamabad. In these roles, he was responsible for overseeing appellate proceedings, regulatory enforcement, and legal strategy in complex revenue matters. Mr. Tahir possesses deep expertise in customs and domestic taxation issues, supported by hands on experience in regulatory oversight, adjudication, and enforcement. His professional career reflects sound judgment, institutional discipline, and a strong contribution to the development and implementation of national taxation policies. He strengthens the firm’s advisory capabilities in tax and revenue matters, enabling clients to benefit from informed guidance, procedural insight, and effective representation before relevant authorities and forums.
Mr. Hassan Durrani|Founding Partner
Mr. Hassan Durrani is the Founding Partner of H & H Law Chambers, with a strong practice spanning corporate advisory, commercial litigation, constitutional matters, and regulatory disputes. He combines courtroom experience with academic depth, enabling a rigorous and structured approach to legal problem solving. With extensive experience in litigation before superior courts and specialized forums, Mr. Durrani is known for strategic case analysis, precise legal drafting, and persuasive advocacy. His practice is particularly focused on complex legal issues involving statutory interpretation, regulatory compliance, and public law principles. In parallel with legal practice, Mr. Durrani has over a decade of experience in legal education, having taught core law subjects including Contract Law, Criminal Law, Jurisprudence, EU Law, Property, and Trusts under the University of London LL.B. (Hons) programme. This academic engagement strengthens his ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, well reasoned arguments a quality highly valued by clients.
